Infidelity in Devotion

Here it is folks, three days in the making – I’m sure you’re at the edge of your seat, waiting in anticipation. Today’s post is the combination of the last three days of work, prompted initially after 31 Plays in 31 Days Prompt for August 14th, #2 – the line’s in there somewhere, though it didn’t get inserted until day two.

At any rate, Infidelity in Devotion is about a woman who is having trouble conceiving with her husband and ends up turning to a friend to assist in the conception. The rest of the play deals with the consequences of those actions and the fallout. Fairly straight-forward and without any out-of-left-field plot twists, the characters sort of spoke for themselves here: saying what they wanted to say instead of my going – “and then they say this!”

It was very fluid on my end, is what I’m trying to say; I hope it’s as fluid reading.
