Whispered in her ear
Before her nostrils flare,
filling with air
Though sighed out quicker yet
For the feeling of their

Auditions Are…Rolling Genome…Middleground

So – I have been keeping up with the Challenge but have been super-busy and under-the-weather. Took a health day today and stayed in bed (and on my computer) working. That “time-off” was well spent in that I now have Days 28, 29, and 30 edited and formatted, just waiting for your perusal! Like in all the other posts, read the play by clicking the title. Hope you enjoy!

Yet another idea I’d had at the top of the Challenge, Conception was always going to be between two sperm and an ovum. A recent news report on NPR about vice-presidential candidate Paul Ryan’s backing of a bill that would classify zygotes as persons led the play to take on a whole new dimension. Clearly, I kind of think that deeming a single-cell as a fully-righted human being is bullshit. Also pre-conception conception in Arizona would be extremely humorous if it weren’t so utterly senseless.

At any rate, this one here’s a comedy, and certainly has its moments. Took a longer turn than I expected, as did the ending rounding up. A little research at the tail of it yielded the possibility, although the unlikelihood of it (I think writers thrive in low probability fields). Regardless, I think it all tied up together nicely at the end. Also, completed at 3 in the morning at a Blackjack table in downtown Las Vegas, so there’s that to boot.

Please enjoy,

Made her wet before the pet so softly digit parts her slippery silken sweetness, slipping in so swiftly as to almost be deceiving. But she surely feels it.

She sighs, her nipples erect, breathing in deeply,
Determined to feel every inch of the finger curling up into her g-spot as his tongue and lips twirl around her pertness, and moving north, find purchase on her right earlobe.

Gyrating in countermeasure to his circuitous oscillations,
Succinct pleasure running through her frame and station,
Caught in the world of elation as his mouth stops drawing her in physically and turns instead to poetry.

Writ in the way she arcs her back,
The joy on her face,
The sparkle in her eyes as they meet his and they speak more loudly than words ever could,
Saying sweet things, stating obviousnesses as sensual discoveries:

Speaking Terms

If words we’re a vacuum, not just vacuous,
the conversation would still suck,
But instead I’d be pulling my orbit to a path ’round your star,
for near or far I search my heart and there you are, burning like a sun giving fuel to my fire.

A pyre made in pilgrimages to the Mecca in your eyes,
A brightness at actions I can claim at and cite,
A bite and the plight beneath those parking lots’ lights.

A jubilation at the sight of you,
How have you in me these feeling wrought each and every night?

Lucking Out

Two lovers: Limber and Lithe,
lithic and mythic and always in time,
with license to lubricate in a libidinous lather labial lusts that call out, “Oh, faster.”

He’s mastered his rod, gives winks and nods,
gives praise to his God and keep his sword shod:
whispers sweet nothings, giving fodder for her rapture, if only the moment were preserved, were captured:

A Coven of Two

They formed a coven of two souls joined in one body,
the rhythm that they made could be described as rocking solidly,
shod in moonlight, robed in the breeze,
her quick exhale as his manhood he inside her eased.

They breathe, oblivious to the calm and cool eyes of shades that watch jealously,
having forgotten the warmth of skin, the flutter of a quickened pulse, the sweet stinging of delayed air in the lungs,
they count out in measure each thrust, revelling in the extended moment like a climber of
a ladder seeking out the next rung,
hang there pheromones between the lovers,
their sweat finding purchase on the other’s skin and mingling,
her nails upon his back that set his senses tingling.
